After a decade-long partnership, Boost Mobile needed to evolve from a traditional prepaid only model into a unified retail experience capable of selling both prepaid and postpaid services within a single store. This shift required reimagining customer journeys, elevating the digital ecosystem, and modernizing the physical environment to support a more competitive, future focused brand position.


Principle led a comprehensive, insight driven transformation of Boost’s entire retail experience. We began with human centered research, interviewing customers and mapping behaviors to inform early concepts. Through rapid iterative design sprints, we moved from exploration to full approval in just 45 days.
Our team then designed every physical and digital element of the store, from fixtures and materials to digital walls, signage, and content strategy, grounded in a digital first approach that ensured brand, value, and network messaging were delivered consistently.
Finally, we executed a nationwide rollout, value engineering the design to reduce complexity and achieve 30% cost savings while maintaining the intended aesthetic.


Boost Mobile launched a reimagined retail format that supports both prepaid and postpaid services for the first time, strengthening brand perception and customer engagement. Design approval was achieved in 45 days, and more than 250 stores were transformed in only six months. The program delivered speed, scale, and long term operational savings, positioning Boost Mobile to compete and grow in a fast moving wireless marketplace.
