Accenture

The Opportunity

Accenture, one of the world’s leading professional services organizations, launched its “Way of Working” initiative to redefine how employees connect, collaborate, and thrive. The program required a fresh approach to workplace strategy, reimagining environments across multiple offices and creating spaces where personal and professional spheres blend seamlessly.

Initially, Accenture opened three Forward Buildings in Milan and Rome, totaling 70,000 sq. meters and more than 6,000 workstations. Each site needed a clear, consistent design framework that honored local character while staying aligned with the company’s global brand and workplace strategy.

The Solution

Principle created a comprehensive set of brand guidelines supported by a matrix b ased decision tree to help every Accenture location express both local aspirations and global identity with clarity and consistency.

At the Forward Hub in Rome, spanning six towers and 26,000 sq. meters, we designed with employee well being at the core. The environment features cocreation zones, flexible meeting and collaboration areas, leisure spaces, and amenities that support work-life balance.

Blending open spaces with bookable offices and flexible support areas, the layout adapts to every work style, from deep focus to teamwork. Innovative, multifunctional furniture with sound absorbing materials enhances comfort and interaction while also expressing the brand’s values: bold, optimistic, energetic, dimensional, fresh, and lively.

Our Impact

Principle has supported Accenture for more than a decade, delivering programs at every scale, from major corporate facilities in India to one off brand activations.

Among the most significant achievements was executing a global rebrand across offices in more than 50 countries in a single weekend, unifying the organization for the launch of the “Let There Be Change” campaign. The result: a consistent, energized global identity experienced by thousands of employees the moment they returned to work.
