We are currently looking to add a part-time (30 hours per week) Group Financial Accountant to our ever busy team.

Purpose of the Role
The Group Financial Accountant will report directly to the Finance Director. You will work within the finance team based in Huddersfield made up of currently 6 individuals and work alongside one other Management Accountant. You will perform group consolidation of all Principle subsidiary monthly management accounts.
These management accounts are produced in region and submitted to UK for consolidation. You will also be responsible for producing the management accounts for our two Holding companies.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Prepare the Management accounts for the Holding companies of the Principle Group, ensuring timely and accurate financial reports
Prepare consolidated financial statements for the group in accordance with FRS 102
Liaise with subsidiary finance teams to ensure consistent financial reporting across the group.
Consolidate the monthly sales and pipeline forecasts for the group
Reconcile Intercompany ledger balances monthly
Preparing for and supporting the annual audit process
Assist in the preparation of Board reports and financial presentations
Identify areas for process improvement to enhance financial efficiency
Provide technical accounting support and guidance to the finance team
Keep up to date with changes in accounting standards and ensure group-wide compliance
Liase with subsidiary finance teams to manage group cashflow
Any other duties that may be reasonably required to support the needs of the department and the business.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes - Essential:
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Part qualified or qualified (ACCA/CIMA) accountant with experience in a similar management accounting role
The ability to work both as an individual and part of a team
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Advanced Excel skills
Experience in group consolidations and multi-entity accounting would be beneficial.
