We are currently looking to add Project Managers to our ever busy team.  The role will provide exposure to prestigious clients and provides a varied and interesting challenge for someone who enjoys being busy and putting their own ideas forward. Brand implementation and corporate identity roll out is a complicated job - we work with businesses to ensure their brand is delivered consistently by expertly providing consultancy, audit and project management, fit-out, signs and wayfinding, graphics, interiors, financing and regular maintenance.

Purpose of the Role

The Field Installation Manager oversees the on-site installation of products and systems, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing installation crews, coordinating logistics, resolving on-site issues, and maintaining effective communication with clients and stakeholders. Regular site visits are essential to monitor progress and work quality.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Installation Management:

  • Supervise installation crew members and independent contractors, ensuring timely, code-compliant installations.

  • Partner with Activations & Delivery Teams to deliver exceptional service during installations.

  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, allocating resources effectively to meet deadlines.

  • Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Conduct on-site surveys, document conditions, and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Create clear, concise installation and assembly directions.

  • Lead installation teams from delivery to project completion with proven expertise.

  • Negotiate rates, costs, and resolve disputes with subcontractors on behalf of the organization.

  • Prepare installation estimates and support pricing negotiations for the Bid & Quote Team.

  • Facilitate internal and external training on installation processes and methods.

Quality Control:

  • Inspect installations for compliance with quality standards, specifications, and client requirements.

  • Promptly address quality issues, including corrective actions and rework when necessary.

  • Perform quality checks on materials and equipment used in installations.

Logistics and Coordination:

  • Oversee the delivery and handling of materials at job sites.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades involved in installations.

  • Ensure all necessary permits and approvals are secured for installations.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Generate and submit detailed installation reports, including progress updates, issues encountered, and completion documentation.

  • Maintain accurate records of installation details, such as labor hours, materials used, and key project milestones.

Installer Network Management:

  • Evaluate and grow the installer database while ensuring adherence to organizational processes and requirements.

  • Assess and provide feedback on the performance of installation partners.

General Duties:

  • Perform additional assignments as required.

  • Uphold and promote safety goals and objectives within the organization.

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes - Essential:

  • Willingness and ability to travel weekly, both domestically and internationally.

  • Bachelor's degree in construction/engineering or equivalent relevant experience (minimum three years of field experience).

  • Strong project management skills to plan, execute, and oversee complex installations.

  • Background in white box construction or sign installation is required.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with clients, crew members, and stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in project management, construction, and reporting software.

  • High level of business acumen, confidence, motivation, and proactive energy.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across teams.

  • Effective leadership, written and oral communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills.

  • Proven negotiating experience.

  • Knowledge of equipment operation, including personnel and equipment lifts.

  • Rope certifications and the ability to work at significant heights are a plus.

  • Expertise with manual and laser measuring devices; Lidar experience is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with drones for survey purposes is a bonus.

  • Hands-on experience with interior/exterior painting, drywall, carpet installation, general electrical and plumbing work, furniture assembly, welding, metal cutting, concrete work, rebar assembly, data wiring, and lighting.

  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and performing materials takeoffs.

  • Physical ability to lift and maneuver weights up to 50 lbs.
